Thank You, Target!

We want to express our sincere appreciation to Target for their support of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Central Virginia by allowing employees to participate in the United Way's Day of Caring on May 19. Eight Target employees selected our project. They were involved with making starfish necklaces, helping to file closed cases and helping to clear out and dispose of old equipment in the office.

We wish to thank the following employees for their help: Leslie Lancaser, Steve Logwood, Gloria Andrews, Amy Williams , Brook Farlow, Emily Cook, Pat Munsee and Pat's husband Dale Munsee, and Anna Boring.

Brunswick Stew Fundraiser - February 12, 2011

A Brunswick Stew fundraiser was held on February 12, 2011. All the supplies were donated by Appomattox Kroger. The sale of 160 quarts of stew generated $1,280 to support our volunteer advocates. Pictured here are Mike Williamson, Debbie Beamon, Board Member Barbara Hudson, Danny Beamon, Lynda Cassada, and Larry Hudson who helped to prepare and cook the stew. Thanks also to other members of the Board of Directors of CASA, who helped to make the sale a success! Thanks, Kroger!
