My work with the children I advocate for is very rewarding. My favorite motto is, "A hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

Qualifications for our CASA Volunteers

Volunteer advocates must be a high school graduate who is at least 21 years of age. The main qualification is a sincere concern for the well being of children. The volunteer must be a mature adult of sound character with good verbal and written communication skills. The CASA volunteer must be able to interact and talk with people of various educational and ethnic backgrounds. An essential characteristic is the ability to be objective and nonjudgmental.
