Paper Tigers Film Screening

  • Miller Center 301 Grove Street Lynchburg, VA, 24501 United States (map)

Join CASA of Central VirginiaHumanKind, and Bridges of Central Virginia to view Paper Tigers, a 1-hour documentary showing how one school of high-risk kids made huge changes in the span of one year. Set within and around the campus of Lincoln Alternative High School in the rural community of Walla Walla, Washington, Paper Tigers asks the following questions: What does it mean to be a trauma-informed school? And how do you educate teens whose childhood experiences have left them with a brain and body ill-suited to learn?

*FREE* and open to the public. Eligible for 2 hours of in-service credit for CASA volunteers.
