The abused and neglected children of Appomattox need you to be their voice! We're inviting you to join us for an hour-long video/slide presentation about the role and responsibilities of a Court Appointed Special Advocate, and how to become one. We believe that retired teachers make for great advocates because of your experience with communication, writing and passion for children. We'll be serving french toast souffle, parmesan scrambled eggs and all of coffee/juice you can drink! We're so excited for you to learn more about the rewards of this unique volunteer opportunity to serve the abused and neglected kids in our community. Register (it's free) to RSVP. For more information, email shannon@cvcasa.org or phone 434-485-1049.
