Would you like to make a major impact in the life of a child who needs a chance for a safe and permanent home? Join us for an hour-long video/slide presentation about the role and responsibilities of a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children, and how to become one. There will be time for Q&A by a veteran CASA who'll answer your questions about what to expect in this unique and rewarding volunteer role. Applications are now being accepted for the Summer 2019 training which begins June 13th. ** Important Note: The cut-off date to apply for the upcoming class is May 13th, so this information session will serve as the final information session before the summer 2019 training class starts. All applications submitted after May 13th will be considered for the 2019 fall training class.** Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, as we will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Refreshments will also be provided for all attendees.
