Jason Clark

Pre-Service Training Facilitator

 

Jason "Coach" Clark is the CTE Initiatives Coordinator at CVCC, bringing 29 years of teaching experience and educational leadership. With a diverse background in CTE instruction and administrative roles, including serving as an assistant principal, Jason is dedicated to student success.

He holds a B.S. in Printing Production Management from Appalachian State University and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Sweet Briar College. Jason's commitment to education has earned him accolades such as Technology Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year at Appomattox County Public Schools.

Beyond academics, Jason served as a CASA volunteer for CASA of Central Virginia from November 2018 until January 2020, serving two children on two cases. Jason has coached various high school sports teams and facilitated student organizations, fostering champions in competitions like SkillsUSA and Technology Student Association. His passion for empowering students extends to his drone program at Appomattox High.

Jason's mantra for educators is to help students discover their gifts and pursue their dreams. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, war-gaming, and spending time with his family in Appomattox, where he resides with his wife, Jennifer. We are thrilled to have Jason join our team as our pre-service training facilitator!
